If you’ve been around here for awhile, you might recognize the faces from today’s elopement…
Remember Michelle + Joe, from 2012(?!) when I did a ‘styled shoot’ in Dolores Park, San Francisco with Kiersten Stevens styling and Sarah Sherman Samuels graphic designing?! I mean, if you would have told me on that day that I would move to Los Angeles (we were living in Milwaukee at the time, with plans to move to San Francisco!), work with Sarah a ton and buy her home, and that we would photograph the eventual wedding of Michelle + Joe, I probably would have died on the spot. The way life plays out is just too, too much to hear all in one second!
So, that was then.
And this is now.
Michelle + Joe chose to have a super intimate elopement in their own city of Beverly Hills (Los Angeles) and to have their closest family in attendance.
They got ready together. Got dressed together. Jumped on the bed of their hotel room together. Walked to the court house together. And allowed every single moment to be as calm, connected and perfect as possible.
We have this thing with couples who do things a bit differently, and this just might take the cake. That DVF jumpsuit, though?! Like I said. Michelle + Joe just get it. It was a freakin’ dream to get asked to capture their day. xx
