I don’t know about you, but when it comes to holiday gifting, I tend to freeze up a little…
Is that friend group going to do ‘Secret Santa’? Are we all buying a gift for every single person? What about family? How will I even know what to get them that they’ll like?! How do I not blow the budget completely?
The idea behind gifting is a great one — and yet, in practice, it’s always a bit overwhelming…
That’s why this year, I’ve decided to speak up early. Why can’t this be the year of practical gift giving?
For me, that looks like.. we just bought a new home and are in the process of furnishing it. New beds, new sheets, and especially new, cozy blankets for wintertime!
When I heard that one of my favorite brands, UGG, had partnered with Bed Bath + Beyond in a collaboration, I was sure there’d be some magic to behold. Sheets, quilts, the most succulent pillows you’ve ever laid your head on… and not to mention the thick blankets that will be perfect for a movie weekend in the middle of the busy holiday season.
Is it wrong of me to buy holiday gifts for myself while I’m shopping for everyone else?! I’m a bit obsessed with the Sunwashed Quilt Set and how it pairs with the Hayden Garment Washed Sheets.. and I won’t lie to you, the Poppy Throw should be the go-to gift this year for anyone who is a new homeowner.
Receiving something like this would be the cherry on top of the holidays, that’s for sure!
They also have fabulous holiday ornaments like the Wren Christmas Tree Ornament that I can’t wait to add to my tree.. as soon as I get one. 😉
