A very Happy 2011 to everyone! We hope that you and yours’ have had a fabulous few weeks of holiday lovin’. We are in Australia at the moment, visiting Jayden’s family in Melbourne, and shooting the wedding of a very lovely couple on Saturday! It’s all so exciting.. but please do forgive the lack of blogging while we’re away. We still have so much to catch up on, and heaps of goodness to still post from 2010.
The new year always brings reflection of the past, and resolution for the future. Being ‘away’ has allowed us to take time to have lots of these chats, and I must say, we are horribly excited about 2011, and all that it will bring! Here’s to the incredible folks we will meet this year, and to the thousands of photos that we will take.. We are looking forward to it with much anticipation and excitement!
And with that, we must kick off the new year with the fabulous duo of Kelly + Brian! These two make up a super relaxed, completely fun-loving and super hot couple! We were thrilled when they chose us to photograph their wedding, and the time we spent getting to know them back in October was nothing short of wonderful. We can’t stress enough how much we enjoy getting to know each couple during their engagement shoot.. It really does take the wedding day photos to a place where we are able to capture the personalities of the bride + groom, rather than meeting them for the first time and trying to ‘get personal’ during the madness of a wedding day. Our time with Kelly + Brian wasn’t just a consultation followed by photos, it was a chance to hang out, laugh and relax.
I also have to say that I love how Kelly brought a bouquet of flowers along for the shoot… the colorful addition was stunning! 🙂
