Kate + John live in Washington, DC and travel around the world quite extensively for work. For their wedding celebrations, they wanted to take time away with their friends + family, and chose to have a destination wedding in Door County back in June. The people who attended their wedding traveled from around the country to be there, which meant that the wedding resulted in a lot of people getting to take a relaxed vacation! So good! Why didn’t I think of that?
When Kate + John first told us that their wedding day was taking place at the Woodwalk Gallery, we were thrilled! We’ve loved shooting weddings there in the past, and loved having a reason to go back. From the beginning of the day with their first look, to the end of the night with the chinese lantern release, Kate + John’s day couldn’t have been more lovely.
