Since this week has been all about ‘back to school: America style’, its only right that we blog one of the fabulous seniors that we got a chance to photograph recently! We’ve been getting to meet + shoot a whole stack of energetic, creative and lovely young’uns [ok, they aren’t that young..] lately, and it makes us all kinds o’ giddy when the senior says, “I need senior portraits, but I want them to look nothing like ‘senior portraits’.” We know what that means, and we like it. (But we still make jokes about bringing our studio backdrops and asking them to be prepared to hold a football. Cuz that’s hot.)
Miss Ellie waved her hair back’n’forth and led us on a journey through the forest with her unlit lanterns. Her stunning youthful smile kept our lenses entertained while the sunshine made out with her golden locks. It was kinda magical, I won’t lie. When I look at these shots, I can’t help but imagine Ellie’s grandkids looking at these someday. You know how we look at photos of our grandmas as younger ladies and say, “Woooooow, you were smokin’!” ?! I know Ellie’s grandkids will say that to her, too. In, like, 2065. 😉
Love this session.
