Friday. February snow. Welcomed sun. Elgin, Illinois. We decided to make the drive to Judson University last Friday and visit the lovely Margaret [Caroline’s sister] and the heroic Corey. The giddy feeling of passing Six Flags on I-94 is always an experience worth while, and makes us think of summer times – visions of the beach, ice cream sundaes, root beer floats, half naked tanners, relationships that start on July 4th and end on July 6th [… gotta love that 48 hour commitment …]. Roller coaster relationships, roller coaster fun parks. I prefer the latter. We also had the wicked surprise of seeing Cobey [Corey’s brother], which was as welcomed as our Chipotle lunch in the sun. Booyah.
In any case, these are the sweet shots that we took throughout the day. Margaret was a willing and patient model in this snowy field by the thawing brook. Kudos to the trooper! Afterwards, frozen pizzas were also thawed before hitting the studio for an impromptu “skank-off” between Caz and Jaydes. Corey supplied the super-dooper muscle flexing, and we all joined in on kookifying some group shots. Gotta love those studio lights…like captured angels, sold off at the photography circus. A killer spectrum, for an itchy septum. We ate several nectarines throughout the day, but Jayden stuck to the dried maraschino cherries. Good fruit for a fruitful afternoon. Bash fists in the air.
Peace to all! Happy gawking!
