Well hello, hello.. I’m back with more! Today is all about the laundry room update at the a-frame with Sarah Sherman Samuel.
You may find this somewhat of a shock if you know me and know how much of a domestic goddess I am not, but I actually love doing laundry.
It was my ‘chore’ growing up in my house as a kid, and I was (am) the oldest of 6 kids, so there was a f * c k t o n of laundry. My mom paid me 25 cents per load (to sort, wash, dry + fold it) and I kept track of the loads by writing tally marks on a piece of paper with a pencil on top of the dryer. It’s nostalgic for me to do laundry… so I just love it. Weird, hey?
Anyway, Sarah had already created a beautiful laundry room when she owned the house.. but the wallpaper was black + white, and, well, we love color. 😉 Sarah suggested a few different wallpapers, but I already had my heart set on this pink one from drop it MODERN, so, thankfully, Sarah liked it, too. (How could you not?!)
Jayden + I tackled the wallpapering together, and I’d like to say, if two people can wallpaper a room together and still want to spend time with each other when it is done, they should get married.
Good thing we’re already there…hey, babe?
I’m not gonna lie. It is a very sexy laundry room, and we feel lucky to get to use (own) it! xx

You should check out my A frame that I just redid. Midcentury modern. It’s not quite in ps but close on the banning bench. It does not have a pool but a view to die for.
